Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Don't get me wrong,
I enjoy rainy days.
However, I've stayed couped up at home for 2 days straight.
I felt a bit of cabin fever coming along.
So since the rain had been light all day yesterday,
we decided to go out for dinner,
and of course right then and there,
the skies decided to open and the wind started to blow...
and just like that I was drenched!

Thank goodness for my rain boots!
I can't believe I've lived all these years without them! lol!

I gotta say I'm thankful for the little rain and the day off.
To everyone living near the Gulf Coast please be careful as the storm is said to strengthen!

  1. Stay safe!!! I love a good rain storm but hurricanes are scarey. I value a good pair of rain boots SO MUCH after I lived in Florida for a year.

  3. I wish we'd get some rain! I've never owned a pair of rain boots since it rains like 5 times a year here in the desert ;)

  4. I almost feel bad for mocking the lack of storm yesterday like I did. It's SO FLOODED today. In fact, the weather seemed worse here today than yesterday!!!! Palm Beach county closed their schools tomorrow because of the stupid flooding. It's ridiculous. UGH! Can't wait for Isaac to just dissolve and go away! Stay dry!!!!

  5. Stay safe!!! Its funny because during hurricane season is when I miss FLorida the most (grew up in Tampa) but decided I don't miss it during hurricane season when my sister called me up yesterday in tears because her boss wanted her to drive over the bridge (she lives in St Pete) to go to work in tampa when they were in the middle of a tornado warning.
