#BrushWhitenGo Influenster Review!

A few weeks ago, Influenster sent me a complimentary sample of Colgate's Optic White new Whitening toothbrush with whitening pen for me to test out and tell you all about it.

I must say it is a breeze to use! Brush, rinse, click 2x, place product on teeth, and you are reading to go!! Considering that you can brush your teeth and place the whitening paste on it just as fast is a no-brainer! I am definitely happy that this product is out there!

Although I haven't quite noticed the big difference when using these, I must tell you that I do drink coffee and wine, and despite these, I think this product has helped in keeping my teeth a little whiter!

But let me stop there, I'll let you be the judge.

What do you think?? Does my smile look brighter and whiter?

Day 5:

Day 8:

I know I will keep up with my #BrushWhitenGo regimen!

Retro Girrrrlllll

Well hello there little chickies!

I convinced the hubs to take more pictures of me in this little get up, so I must warn you:
1. Hubby is not a photog and can't take direction well.
2. Camera doesn't shake, but angles and backgrounds are off, ha!
3. It was sunny as hell and I squinted a lot!
4. Most of my accessories are in boxes, so I was limited in my choices.

But the real reason why this adventure happened is because some time ago eShakti contacted me to conduct a product review and well, I couldn't resist!
I had been eyeing some of their pieces on their website for some time.

eShakti is an online clothing company that customizes their pieces just for you. They carry sizes 0-36W and the different styles are made to fit your shape! First, you select the dress, skirt, blazer, and/or blouse. And oh my, there were so many to chose from!! Second, they ask for your measurements, this is how you know the dress is tailored just for you. I'd ask someone to help you take your measurements to get it just right! Then, you are asked if you'd like to customize your dress by adding or removing sleeves, increasing/decreasing the length of the skirt/dress, and/or adjusting the neckline.

And only a few days after I had hit 'submit', the dress arrived promptly!
The dress was beautiful! I chose it because I am in love with the retro style. The dress had great details, it was lined, with pleats on the right areas and it had pockets! The A-line style of the dress hid my pear shape body. I loved the way it fit and above all the colors and playfulness of the dress.

Are his photography skills getting better?
Or am I becoming a skilled photo editor?

Disclosure: No compensation was given for this review. I did receive a sample product from the sponsor for the purpose of this honest review. This did not affect the outcome of this review. All opinions are 100% my own.

What I Wore in Green!

Look at that…another outfit post from me!

Truth is, it took me two days…TWO DAYS to get hubby to come out with me to do this “photoshoot”. I have to say I am proud of him though. He has improved a lot, in his camera holding skills and his patience for my amateur modeling…if you can even call it that!

Well, lucky for you all, I was able to dig in my box of fun and come out with something decent for today! Only in Miami can you get away with wearing white pants during the winter. I guess you can call this a spring outfit? At least it’s comfortable enough to wear sleeves today.

Yes...he asked me to go behind the fence
and do a little roar too.

Shirt: Old Navy | Capris: Gap {similar} | Glasses: c/o Firmoo | Necklace: Kohl's {similar} | Bracelets: Gifted | Shoes: Payless {similar}

I decided to accessorize a bit more than my usual and I am quite happy with the results! Although I usually wear contacts lenses, I decided to add a pair of glasses for a fun twist!

Haven’t you noticed that glasses are the fun, new accessory to wear nowadays?! Whether you are wearing prescription glasses or non prescription ones, you will be sure to update your look. And yes, even look like a sexy librarian…or a sexy accountant as some of my friends have mentioned. Hubby dearest was excited for this sexy and modern look and encouraged me to wear these out to dinner with friends. I got a chance to tell them where I got them too!

These little bad boys came from Firmoo! They have a great array of frame styles for either sunglasses, prescription, and non-prescription glasses. Their website is easy to use and you can even a upload a picture to test out how the pair you chose looks on you! So hurry on to try your new look! Firmoo has launched a First Pair Free Program to people worldwide. You will absolutely fall in love with the excellent quality, affordable prices, fashionable designs, fast delivery and the good service after trying them by paying shipping only! You even can get a refund/exchange if you are not satisfied with them. It's totally Risk free, so why not have a try? Ferrero Rocher - Betcha I can't eat just 10!

I finally received my awesome Ferrero Rocher® Golden Gift VoxBox from Influenster today! I was soooooo excited you see....Rocher and I have a serious romantic fixation...ok fine...addiction. Although they sent this little VoxBox to me complimentary so that I can review them, my love/opinions for these fine chocolates are definitely not BIASED! I Swear I L.O.V.E. them!

It's not just the hazelnut pieces rolled on the chocolate covered crispy wafer shell.
No ma'am.
It's the delicious surprisingly hazelnut and chocolatey gooey goodness center that makes it fantabulously amazing!

Yes...I am a super lucky girl.

I was one of the few selected to receive this complimentary VoxBox from Influenster and I was so happy I did!!
It took a little longer than usual since I had a little tiny insignificant problem with the address. But alas it arrived and I had to pick it up promptly from the post office! Oh Thank Goodness for belated Christmas Gifts! I kinda sorta LOVE belated presents of any kind!

The official standings:
Ferrero Rocher® is a unique and delicious chocolate experience made by Italian chocolatier Ferrero, since 1982. The chocolates are a tempting combination of smooth chocolaty cream surrounding a whole hazelnut; within a delicate, crisp wafer. . . all enveloped in milk chocolate and finely chopped hazelnuts. The chocolates are individually wrapped in gold foil.

My First Vlog...yes a How to on Devouring Ferrero Rocher!

See!!! Not even Stitch can keep his hands away from my other Ferrero Rocher boxes!

Stitch Fix - Part Deux

A few weeks ago, a beautiful package came in the mail!
It was my Stitch Fix package #2!!

I waited a little to get a new package because I was hoping to have a little more money in my pocket and less poundage in my rear...

What is Stitch Fix? Well, read on it by clicking [here].
You want to give it try you say? Make sure you do so using [this link].

What you will see next are pictures taken by yours truly and also by hubby dearest. Despite my attempts to instruct him on effective non-blurry pics techniques, he, how should I say this, sucked tried his best.

Below I am sporting the two items I kept from my most recent Stitch Fix shipment.
Can you tell what my favorite color is?

I immediately fell for this Everly Makee Shortsleeve Layered Dress.
I felt very dressed up as I went to a baby shower here.
Cool thing is that I can also dress it down with some black leggings and flats!
!

This super soft and criss-crossed sweater is by YA. I've received lots of compliments when I wear this sweater.
Below is their Chiron Twist Front Drape Sweater. It's perfect to keep you warm when there's a slight breeze during those "cool" Miami nights.

Below are the other items that came in my second Stitch Fix shipment.

I actually really liked the Leaf Drop Earrings by Marlyn Schiff. I would've kept them, however, a piece of them broke off.
They retailed for $25.00

This cute heather gray top by Mystree was super cute!
However, it was priced at around $75!!!! A little too much for a long sleeve tee.

This cute black button down by Everly was sent to me because it was definitely one that I'd venture to wear, but only if I had the right combination of clothes.

Stitch Fix does ask you: "How likely are you willing to wear a different style?"
My guess is that this was the "different style".

All in all, I was VERY happy with my second shipment since I was able to fit in all items and ended up purchasing 2 out of 5 items!

Influenster Beauty VoxBox Review

My Influenster Beauty VoxBox has been here for a little while. Thing is, I've been busy using all of the products and I'm sooooo excited because I just may have my favorites!

Just as a quick FYI: I was not compensated in any way to do write these reviews. Although these products were sent to me complimentary, these reviews are my honest, unbiased, and crazy opinions of the products.

My first go-to item was the great smelling Bath & Body Works Mini Candle in Pumpkin Cupcake ($3.50). That little candle sure packed a punch and lasted for several hours despite its tiny size! I was super excited to have my apartment smell like fall! You get everything from the smell of pumpkins, cinnamon, and a little bit of buttercream to remind you of those yummy cupcakes! But, just in case, if you didn't know it already, I love fall!

My favorite product and the one I use daily, is Not Your Mother's Smooth Moves Frizz Control Hair Cream ($6.00). A very small dollop of this cream after towel drying my hair and I'm ready for my blow dry. Once I'm finished, my hair just looks and feels awesome! And it's true what it says, no more frizzy hair!!! I will definitely be purchasing this product before my sample tube is gone! Just remember: a little goes a long way. Too much product can make your hair oily, so only apply a small dollop on the tips of your hair.

Next up is the oh so cool looking Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin
At $7.29 it's a great buy! I love my long hair, however, I also love having it away from my face. These little gadgets are easy to put on and give you a nice polished look. Even if your hair is a bit unruly, you can put these on for a nice tight or cute lose "put together" bun. The box even comes with some chic ideas to create the perfect bun!

My new eyeshadow set from N.Y.C.'s Individual Eyes Custom Compact ($4.99), is a great set that helps accentuate the color of your eyes. I of course received the brown eyes suggested combo. It comes with 4 different shades: all over color, highlighter, and two brow/over the lid colors. It even includes a primer and an illuminator cream to accentuate your look. For the amateur make up artist (aka, me), the instructions were fairly easy to follow, although the order suggested to wear/put on these colors, may not follow along the step by step process indicated on the palette.

Top: Right eye Falsies Mascara, Left Eye NYC Eyeshadows only
Bottom: NYC Eyeshadows and Kiss Pro Lashes at work!

I have also played with my new set of Kiss Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit ($5.99)and what can I tell you, they are so much fun! They are definitely a set to wear on a day when you want to get attention or when you are out on the town. My little lids are a pain on the butt, however I managed to follow the instructions and with some patience, they were placed and adjusted correctly. PS-they come with a little wand that assists in the application the process.

I tested these babies on Halloween...so much fun!

I also had a packet of Orange E-BOOST ($28 for a box of 20), which is a fizzy powder drink that is full of vitamins. I honestly thought it was only a vitamin powder (like Emergen-C) for when one feels a little sick...although I'm sure it is, it also woke me up completely! I was feeling sluggish on a dancing disco night, but after taking a cupful of Orange E-Boost on a night when I felt too sleepy to go out, my mood and my energy shot upwards! Although the taste wasn't the best, I partied hard that night and was able to stay up even through the car ride home--and this my friends, is no easy feat for me.

Did I convince you to buy one? Two?
How about three?! heehee...GO GET THEM!!

I can't wait to test them all and share my reviews with you all!

PS-My room currently smells like delicious Pumpkin Cupcake ;)

Stitch Fix: Get Yours!

So this is quite of an overdue blog post. It took me a little long, only because I didn't know where to start and I didn't have a good pic of me with my Stitch Fix...uhmmm..."Fix"!

What is Stitch Fix? Stitch Fix is this really cool website where you get personalized style fixings delivered to your door! Once you sign up, you complete a style profile of what you like, what you don't like, your size, your price range, and other "important" things. You are then assigned a personal Stitch Fix stylist who selects 5 items that are sent to you for a $20 "styling fee". When the package arrives you  try on the items at home and do a little fashion show for your friends. So you fell in love with one, two, or maybe all five items? The ones you want, well, you can apply the $20 styling towards their cost. The items you don't want? No sweat, return them with the included prepaid envelope. You can schedule your box to arrive as often or as seldom as you want.

What I really liked is that with the items, you also get a card with suggestions on how to wear the pieces that are sent to you. Dress them up, dress them down, with a belt, cardigan, or boots. Uber cool for the lazy fashionista that I am!

Pretty easy cheesy, right?

Just as a quick FYI: I was not compensated in any way to do this.
Also, this is my first fashion post/review of any kind so any feedback is welcomed! :)

Here are the items I received in my first shipment:

This black linen dress is by Keepsake. It is a pretty cute rocking dress with cut outs on the back side. Unfortunately, it was a tad bit small on me (I blame it on my weight gain). I also wasn't too thrilled about the material and the price attached to it (almost $100).
I loved the suggestions to wear the dress though! I think this was one of my "wildcard" picks.

This is a floral racerback tank top by Tulle. I really liked the sheer material and the racerback style on the back. Since I own a similar top in my closet, I had to send this one back.

Via Polyvore
It may have been the fact I needed an outfit for my little sister's birthday, but I found so many ways to wear this tank by Bluejuice with things already in my closet! I love the detail around the neck and the color was my favorite! Although I wasn't thrilled that it flowed out at the bottom so much, I managed to tuck it in into a black tube skirt, sorta like the styling suggestion seen below.
Let's just say that it was h-o-t! I got lots of compliments that night:)

This tank by Olive and Oak was adorable! I loved the sheer material, the colors, and the racerback once again. However, it fit a little odd on me. Maybe I just wasn't used to the way I looked in it.

This skinny wavy bangle set by Rachel Eva was a little pricey for my range. I would've kept them, but I own similar ones I bought some time ago.

After you receive your pieces and try them on for size, log on to your Stitch Fix account and make comments about your items so that your stylist knows why you either loved or did not love the pieces. This way, they get to know about your style a little better.

Stitch Fix is a great way to add items to your closet. You can schedule your Stitch Fix to come in once a month or once every three months, YOU decide!!

Rocking my Stitch Fix!
