Thankful Thursday: Summer Childhood Fun

**Sushi lunch date with my mom.

**Spending an afternoon in a cabana under the sun.

** Happy Birthday Tony!!
The caption signs that were made for his birthday made the night so much more fun!

**Hanging out with my inner child at Disney!
Candy Land was my favorite board game as a kid!

**Finally finding my throne at Senor Frogs!

**Enjoying some pizza and delicious wine on a weeknight.

**Realizing that the wine was meant just for that!

When was the last time you let your inner child roam free?

King of New York!

"Headlines don't sell papes, Newsies sell papes!" -Jack Kelly

So I guess the rumors are true!

Newsies, one of my all time favorite Disney movies, is now on Broadway! Newsies is at the Nederlander Theatre, same theatre as Rent so that's even more exciting!

This was also the movie that led to my addiction to Christian Bale. He is 'hands-down' my favorite actor...and a hottie nonetheless.

This really takes me back...to my days using Prodigy to connect with other Newsies. Back then I was an internet addict as well! I think I was on it so much that my dad had to pay overage fees of over $200! eeek!

That was when I made pen pals, wrote short fiction stories, and linked up with friends on the old Internet Bulletin Boards anywhere from California, Indiana, New York, and Ohio! I wonder where they are all at now?!

I'm excited to sing the songs!

Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

My dearest hubby hit it on the nosh when he purchased annual tickets for Disney this past summer!

And of course, a trip to Epcot's Food & Wine Festival was a must! So this weekend, a group of 6 of us decided to meet and tour around the world!
We started in the UK, made a quick trip to South America, back to the US, Asia, and Europe.

So maybe I skipped the lava cake in Ireland, but my favorite countries in this mini world tour were Argentina's Steak with chimichurri, Brazil's Frozen Caipirinhas, Canada's Spicy's sausage and polenta, Greece's chicken pita, and Belgium for their mussles, waffles, and Hoegaarden.

Hopefully we will have one more trip around the world before the season is over!
